CIMA Global Business Challenge is on the go these days. The Pakistan finals were however not easy for the teams participating. Working on the case-study; taking out time from busy schedules; being creative and competitive at the same time was all a onerous task. However it was conquered by four valiants. I am talking about the top four best teams all over Pakistan. One was from LUMS one from CAMS and two from IoBM. That is my institute actually. Institute of Business Management. MashaALLAH IoBM has what it takes to be awesome. The teams were individually interviewed by different TV channels in order to promote them. Pakistani media at least assists in promoting Education and such business competitions.
Media partnership was done at IoBM even, whereby an interactive session regarding the importance of business challenges was discussed. The panel included two executives from CIMA and two faculty members from IoBM. Moderator from the CNBC channel acted as the facilitator throughout the discussion.
Pakistan finals held on the 6th of June 2011 turned out to be lucky for IoBM. First position was acquired by the IoBM team also the other team from IoBM managed to secure the third position. LUMS ranked second and CAMS fourth. What is next will get revealed in the Global Finals in China. We hope "The Code Breakers" win laurels back home. Ameen InshaALLAH!
